St. John the Baptist Church Calumpit, Bulacan
Built in 1572, the St. John the Baptist Church is the oldest church in Bulacan. Constructed under the supervision of Augustinian priest Diego Vivar - Ordonez, the church has been a mute witness to the Filipinos' struggle against Spanish, American and Japanese rule. Inside the church is a tunnel that, as legend would have it, was used by priests during the Spanish regime to keep gold, religious statues and ornate jewelry hidden from the sight of treasure hunters. It is the birthplace of Christianity in the province.

Bagbag Bridge Calumpit, Bulacan

The marker commemorates the historic Battle of Quingua (Plaridel at present) where the Filipinos triumphed over the American forces in their fight for freedom. Likewise, it also commemorates the death of Col. John Stotsenberg—a prominent figure of the Philippine-American war.

Sto. Nino Festival Malolos City, Bulacan Last Sunday of January
Malolos hosts a colorful Sto. Niño procession dedicated to the infant Jesus. The festivity begins with a week long exhibit of “Niños” and culminate in a grand procession of hundreds of pashioners and antique and new statues of the Holy Child in different manifestations, such as sheperd boy, sleeping child, keeper of the world., etc.

Guiguinto Garden Festival Guiguinto, Bulacan January 22-23
Each year the municipal government sets aside three (3) days to one week for this double celebration marked with pomp and pageantry. It is the time of the year when the people of Guiguinto showcase their skills and talents on gardening (their main industry), street dancing, cheering competitions, cultural shows, and trade fares. For job-seekers, the Municipal Public Employment Service Office holds a ‘jobs fare’ coinciding with all the merriment. The highlight of this double celebration is the Mayor's Annual Report wherein the Local Chief Executive delivers his State Address.

A fluvial procession of well-decorated pagodas is held on the river every 23rd of June right before the annual town fiesta in honor of St. John the Baptist. Townfolks gaily sing, dance and frenzily douse water to “baptize” passers-by — prepare to get wet.

Kneeling Carabao Festival Pulilan, Bulacan May 14-15
The celebration is manifested by hanging all sorts of fruits, candies, food crops and multi-colored kipings on bamboo poles. The affairs is highlighted by kneeling of carabaos in front of the church and the symbolic floats. Every year, a sea of frolicking humanity comes in droves to witness this showcasing innate talents of the carabaos.
